You guys are retarded. This is how the ride is supposed to be. It’s all about the dumb jokes.

It’s supposed to be funny, I was on this and the tour guide cracked jokes too.

Were the self loathing comments made by the tour guide part of the script or does he really hate his life? Hard to tell.

I remember the ride ages ago. They used to shoot the hippos with a gun, and the crocodiles. I guess PETA stopped that. – My but that captain took his corney pills that day. :)

That has to be like the worst tour guide ever. It’s like he’s laughing at them for spending hundreds of dollars to take a boat ride on a fake river to look at fake animals.. LOL… Take a safari…

I’d love to be a skipper on the Jungle Cruise. I don’t imagine they make much, but to me, true entertainment is worth more than actual dollars

The skipper wasn’t very enthusiastic. I was hoarse after most days during my tour of duty at Disneyland’s JC.

There is a “script” but there are like 5-6 different things they can say at each part, so no ride is the same, but a lot of skipper add a few things that havent been completely oked, but as long as it doesnt offend someone they are ok.

I know. Even story wise, they weren’t actually shooting AT the Hippos. They were shooting aimlessly to scare them away
